Foods To Avoid During Pregnancy

It is important every day to eat balanced meals, and this is especially true for pregnant women. Most of the food is safe, but there is one that has to be removed from your list.

Nutrients, vitamins and minerals, healthy meals, controlling the amount and content of the plate are becoming crucial for you and your baby.

But there are certain foods that should not be found on your table.

Liver and products of it should be avoided because they contain a lot of vitamin A, which in large quantities is harmful and can lead to serious disturbances in the baby.

Fish oil contains a special form of vitamin A, which can be very bad for the baby, so avoid it!

Unpasteurised dairy products such as milk, cheese and yogurt are at risk for salmonella or listeria.

If a husband or someone from the family suffered from hay fever, asthma, eczema or other allergies should avoid peanuts in all forms because the baby can become allergic to nuts. In fact, you should to avoid during pregnancy and lactation.

Eggs should be removed, but if you’re really lover of them, cook them until the white and yolk become quite rigid.

For pregnancy is not good either raw or slightly cooked meat, fish, poultry and oysters. You can not constantly avoid them, but you have to completely cook or bake them.

Fish that contain a lot of mercury are not recommended in pregnancy. You can eat tuna, but in moderation.

From drinks certainly you should eliminate alcohol. It is best completely, because it is not proven how much is safe for you and the baby.

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cocoa and some energy drinks you can consume, but in moderation. This means 200 mg of caffeine a day, two cups of coffee or tea and beware: some teas are not allowed in pregnancy!
