‘For the record, my bub is healthy’: Six-months pregnant Instagram model hits back at critics trying to shame her for posting photos of her incredibly toned tummy

An Instagram famous model is turning heads and silencing her critics with her positive and healthy outlook during her pregnancy.

Hannah Polites, 24, from the Gold Coast, has been showing off her growing baby bump on her Instagram, which appears taunt and tiny despite the blonde bombshell being six months pregnant.

Hannah has over one million followers on Instagram, where she up uploads content covering her passions for health, style and travel.

Hannah says she doesn't take negative comments to heart, especially when she knows that she is making informed decisions when it comes to nutrition and exercise in pregnancy and motherhood

Speaking to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Hannah says she tries to stay positive despite some critics saying her lifestyle isn’t healthy for her unborn bub.

‘I do not take the negative comments to heart, especially when I know I am making informed decisions when it comes to nutrition and exercise in pregnancy and motherhood.

‘For the record, doctors have told me bub is healthy.

‘All women’s bodies should be celebrated, especially at a time of pregnancy.’

Hannah is a trained mid-wife and has even volunteered as a midwife in the villages of Laos in southeast Asia.

‘I don’t count calories or follow fad diets and believe in nourishing my body with foods in their most natural state possible. I love to buy fresh, local produce and shop predominantly from local markets.’  she writes on her website.

Hannah says that most of the feedback is positive and that is what she chooses to focus on, assuring the critics that her baby is healthy and is actually 20 per cent bigger than the average baby at six months and that it made her feel good to keep fit.

‘I will continue to post photos of my body as I feel that it’s important to be a positive role model in the community.

‘My life can be confronting for women because it differs to their own choices, but this is who I am and everyone is welcome to share their own journeys.’

Hannah says that most of the feedback is positive and that is what she chooses to focus on while she is going through her pregnancy journey
