Trend Alert: Moms Are Leaving Diaper-Changing Care Packages in Public RestroomsThis was in our local target store and thankfully I didnt need but thought it was awesome. Good people everywhere :)

Remember the California mom who recently left a pile of diaper-changing essentials in the bathroom at HomeGoods for another potential mama in need? Well, it seems this pay-it-forward act of kindness is becoming a bit of a trend.

Facebook user Joy Clyde shared a photo of a similar care package that was left behind on a changing table in another public restroom. “This was in our local target store and thankfully I didn’t need but thought it was awesome. Good people everywhere,” she wrote as a caption to a photo of a Ziploc bag filled with diapers and wipes, and a note.

“We have all been there: forgot diapers, wipes, and your little one just exploded their pants!” it says. “Hopefully this helps! Take what you need or leave any extra! Remember, it takes an army to raise children, so let’s all help each other! Love, a mom who has needed help. Many times.”

Raises hand.

I recall an incident right after my first daughter was born that involved me, her, a diaper explosion, no more diapers or wipes, and a Panera bathroom. To make a gruesomely-messy story short, this humbling mom-fail ended in my leaving the restaurant with my newborn wearing a paper bag. Seriously.

Given my experience, I am loving this new trend in lending a helping hand. Because no matter how together you have it one day, a baby wearing a paper bag for a diaper can be just around the corner!

Have you ever been in need of a diaper and/or wipes at a very key moment?
